PIONEER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 

Program Overview

The Pioneer program is a church planting internship where you will work with a mentor working in real time to establish new churches in small towns in Alberta, Canada 

The Pioneer program is not for the faint of heart! This program will push you outside your comfort zone, draw you closer to Jesus, train you in several different ministry settings, and equip you for ministry anywhere. 

This may sound intimidating, but you won't be alone in any part of this journey. You will be trained thoroughly and you'll have veteran missionaries and mentors available to you each step of the way.

There will be opportunities for many kinds of ministries, including one-on-one discipleship, real-time graphic design and media production, evangelism, construction, and preaching. 

In this internship, you will be required to: 

• Plan and execute gospel advances into local communities.
• Design and print your own tracts and promotional material in target communities. 
• Learn to leverage media production and social media as a means of personal connection. 
• Strategize on how to create connections within the community. 
• Prepare and present discovery Bible studies. 
• Preach and teach in established local churches. 
• Do survey trips into local towns and establish an understanding of spiritiual  strongholds the local culture.  

Specific Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:  

• A good work ethic 
• A servant's heart and a teachable spirit
• The ability to be flexible
• A strong walk with the Lord who is looking to go deeper.
• An interest in full-time ministry. 

Timing

The timing of this program is flexible around the availability of the applicant but generally summer internships are 8 to 12 weeks in length.   

What will be provided: 

During the duration of the internship, the applicant will be housed and have his physical needs taken care of. A small stipend will be provided to take care of personal needs. This is not a paid internship.

• Clothing and personal items 
• Bible 
• Phone 
• Computer 
• Instrument (if you play) 
• Hand tools (if you have a trade)
• Videography equipment (If you shoot video)   

Prerequistes before trip: 

-Valid Passport 

-Driver’s license

-Must be 18 years or older.
